WAYS TO DEAL WITH MULTIPLE JOB OFFERS
General informationPublished July 3, 2011 at 8:41 am No CommentsJob finding is the most difficult phase of a person because it requires a lot of time and patience of the person seeking for an appropriate job. One requires developing a professional resume or CV to apply for various jobs and sometimes he may need a professional resume builder to perform this task. There is no doubt that a professional CV and cover letter contributes a lot in your job recruitment. After the submission of your job application you usually waist for the response of the potential employers. If you are lucky enough then you may get response from multiple employers. This situation can be considered as an ideal one but you should not take it lightly because it may lead to a selection of unsuitable job and rejection of the most suitable one.
Once you get job offers from multiple recruiters, the most important thing is to critically evaluate each employer separately to reach the right decision. First of all you have to match the job descriptions with your own skills, so that you may know whether you are actually able to perform those duties at the workplace or not. Never base your decision entirely on the payrolls offered by a certain organization because there are many other factors which are also very important in this regard. You should compare the advantages and disadvantages of each job and it is highly recommended to make a checklist so that it may be easier for you to make a decision.
The reputation of a firm in an industry is very important while selecting an organization. If you prefer to work in a multicultural environment then go for the firm which offers you with such an environment. If you are comfortable working in a team then you should choose the firm where you will have opportunities to work with a team. If you are more comfortable working as an individual then select the job where you are able to work individually. You should also consider the holidays, health benefits and group insurance plans offered by different employers. The convenience level is also very important in this regard and you should also consider the distance of the workplace from your home because this factor puts a great impact on your work efficiency. Never take too much time to consider the job offers as this may give an impression to the employer that you are not interested in the job and he or she may pull away his or her offer. Never reject an offer until and unless you have signed an agreement with another organization because rejecting a job will need a surety from the other employer. Gather information about the working environment of the organization because it will help you in future. If you are not satisfied with the salary try to negotiate with the employer and request him or her to increase it in a realistic manner. Never try to black mail a prospective employer by giving the impression that you have got a better offer from another employer because he or she may pull his or her offer after that.
