In the previous post we told you how to write basic information about yourself and your education in your CV. Now we will focus on information about work experience and skills.
It is important to organize your jobs from the last one you had or you have in present and continue further into the past. If you are long-term unemployed mention this period as “actively seeking work”.
When you write about your job experience you start with duration of employment (from when to when you were employed in the company), then you give a company name, position and job description. You have to describe your work duties and responsibilities.
If you are a student and you have passed only a few brigades mention them in your CV. Not all of them of course. You have to consider witch one say something about you skills. For example if your were all summer abroad where you had to communicate in foreign language, it says something about your level of language skills.
Last group of information in your CV are skills. This include language skills, computer skills etc. When you write about your language skills don´t forget to mention the level. That means whether you´r beginner, advanced, also if you can only speak or write in foreign language.
Then there are computer skills. You need to write witch computer programs or tools you use and at what level. That means beginner, advanced or expert. For example you are expert in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet and so on.
At the end write something about your hobbies. What do you like, how do you spend your free time. This information tell a lot about your personality. Write your positive properties such as responsibility, reliability, flexibility etc. Also don´t forget to mention your drive licence and how many miles you have driven.
One advice at the end. Be honest and don´t lie!
